Anita (Jones) Whitney was born and raised in Omaha, Nebraska.  She attended the University of Nebraska at Omaha and continued her education at The Nebraska College of Business earning a degree in Business Administration with emphasis in marketing.  Anita is married to Stuart M. Whitney, Sr. The couple lived in Los Angeles, California, Seattle, Washington and returned to Omaha in 2000.  They have two incredible children Michael and Leah.  She recorded the CD “7 Fold Promises” as part of the group 7-Fold made up of Anita and her three sisters Shawn, Stephanie and Marilyn (the group’s name was recently changed to “7ven-Fold”). Tyray Booker, son of group member, Shawn Booker, is the newest member of the group.  Anita loves doing volunteer work for her church.  She is also the church Administrator, a Christian Education teacher and is on the Praise Team.  In her spare time, she enjoys reading, singing, drama, dancing and studying God’s Word.  Anita works in public health working as a Community Health Educator.
